Making a start

In this module we will look more closely at safeguarding considerations and how you might go about accepting and assessing any referrals. We will explore why referrals might not always automatically mean it is right or ethical for a child to begin therapy, and consider when other modalities or specialist onwards referrals might be in the child’s best interest.
